Runner on 3rd, Cotton pitches like he always does, nothing wrong with it that I could see. After the catcher has the ball, instead of calling strike/ball, the home plate ump signals a balk.

Mainieri had to have been barely out of the dugout before the ump tossed him from the game. Given how often we want him to get tossed and he doesn't even argue, there's no fricking way he said anything to get tossed that fast. It was a complete bullshite call.

I don't see anything here where HCs are susceptible to this rule. That being said, I'm not sure what the rule is for a HC who is ejected in two straight games.

I would be more concerned about the umpire being able to work...PM chewed a pretty good piece of his arse off.

They are going to wear that ump's arse out at 3B tomorrow.

in the SEC, the second time a coach gets ejected, he gets suspended for a game.

Got a link for this? I'm just curious because I've been searching and can find nothing on it.

NVM looks like it's mentioned here: LINK

quote:

The SEC Baseball Ejection Policy went into effect at the start of the 2009 SEC conference baseball season and states, “A student-athlete, coach or team representative ejected for misconduct or unsportsmanlike conduct for a first offense will receive a written warning cautioning of actions on further like conduct. A second and subsequent ejection in the same year will carry a next game suspension for each ejection
