I don't know what Oregon has coming back, but they may be in a revenge state of mind (SEC).
LSU better play a "Texas A&M" type of game.

The lose their top 2 d-linemen, top 2 LBs, and a CB. Offensively they lose 3 O-linemen and 2 WRs. We're loaded on both sides of the ball. Pardon me if the Ducks don't scare me next year.

They have to replace 3 o-line starters and top two receivers. On defense 3 d-linemen 2 linebackers and a cornerback.

ETA: Damn I type too slow!

It depends (as always) on any number of things. Hell atm we aren't even sure who our OC is going to be. We damn sure have the talent to beat up on them, but that offense is sure to rack up some yards on Chavis unless he takes a course on defending running QB's this summer.

I got faith in da tigahs.

I don't see how Oregon could be any more pumped up than playing for a National Title.

They might try, but Oregon will not have the horsepower to beat up on LSU next year.

Oregon proved they had been waxing weak defenses all year. Even though I was impressed with the way Oregon's D played, Auburn showed outside speed and kept Oregon at bay. Oregon hadnt seen speed like that all year. And Fairly showed up.

Oregon will face a faster and ball hawking D on turf in Sept. Should be tough for the ducks. LSU will have their hands full too. But whoever T Mathieu is covering, he better just know it's going to be a long day in Jerry's World!

I like that we'll have Montgomery back @ DE. He's was a big loss this year. Our faster LBs should help and having #14 roaming around isn't going to hurt.

the other thing to keep in mind is the size of LSU's offensive line versus the Oregon defense...and with the fresh running backs LSU can run in and out of the game.....i'd just pound it up the middle...

Yeah I don't think that this game is going to be very close

Newton played a pretty terrible game and they still beat Oregon

I was perplexed that Auburn's O line didnt handle Oregon's front seven any better though. They had a very large size advantage. The running game should have beat the ducks down by the late 3rd quarter. Shame they couldnt force their will any more than they did.

I believe the size and strength on the lines will be to much for the Ducks to overcome once again.

Above everything else this is the one thing SEC teams have over other conferences. Amazing athletic big lineman they can rotate in and out.

ive been saying for this for 3 months: Oregons not very good. it thrills me that theyre ranked so high, but theyre not very good, and LSU is gonna kick the shite out of them.

I agree Sam Montgomery was a big loss. But I wouldn't bank on him coming back 100%. By the end of the year--yeah, he'll be mauling people. But the first game will be mentally a challenge (first game back from a serious injury)

This game will be one of the hardest in the season and not a way to start the season if we lose.
