With Brennan coming back and Walker Howard coming in, does Nussmeier get happy feet?

Doesn't really make sense to leave. Brennan for 1 year with Nuss backing up and Walker RS, he can reeval next year and decide.

Howard is supposedly red shirting so Nuss would be our back up. He’d be a punk to leave LSU without knowing who wins the QB battle once Myles leaves.

I wouldn't be completely shocked at this point the way college football is, but Nuss doesn't come off as a guy that would run from competition. He'll probably play through this coming season and if going into 23' he thinks he doesn't have a shot then I can see him leaving.

Nah. This will be Brennan's last year. But he HAS suffered injuries in the past. Nuss needs to be ready to fill the role at a moment's notice. Howard needs to develop in comfort. He is a crucial piece in the Kelly regime.

Nuss will leave. That is the nature of the business. He fought to preserve his red shirt. Why? Because 4 more years of eligibility makes him more attractive to other schools.
