Lee did not lose the starting job because of his play in 2008. He never once got pulled because of his stats.

Well, thats not true.

At Troy, JLee got yanked, and JJ came in for 3 series and racked up an amazing 1 for 6, for 5 whopping yds. JLee got reinserted, and the rest, they say, is history.

That game cnvinced me that JJ will never be able to do with the football what JLee can. JLee is his own worst enemy, not JJ. Why Miles wont let him at least move the team when JJ isnt, is frickin mind-boggling, and frustrating.

Yay! I was wondering what happened to this kooky little group of Lee's merry men. Good to see you guys haven't lost your focus.

The coaching staff might think that if they let Lee pass and he performs well that it will cause a major PR problem for them and the team. With the thinking that we can win 9-11 games with good rushing and ball control offense.
I personally subscribe to this philosphy but I wish we could play both guys.

I'm worried he'll wait until we are too far behind or that we blow a game we should have won before he pulls the trigger.

if he pulls the trigger and goes with a backup, who ya got? Lee or Bailey? both could be good SEC level QB's if Jefferson were to go down.

Miles is content on building up the running game, that is why you see options, qb draws, and RB touches taking up about 80% of the game. Miles main focus in the offseason was to fix the OL and run game. Like I keep saying, when they need JJ to actually pass down field he will and you bunch of idiots will finally calm down.

If miles cared about the passing game so much he would have him throwing 25-30 times a game. They scripted him to throw in the UNC game and I think he was supposed to come out in the third if the game was in hand but shite kept happening. Until Miles let's JJ go down field more than twice a game, you will never see JL pass.

You people are basically saying that Miles would rather lose a game than let JL pass the ball. If you really believe somebody is that stupid, you've lost your mind.
