This is a reasonable critique of Mainieri. Unlike some of the idiots on this board that claim the man knows nothing about baseball, is bad for LSU and should be fired immediately.

I think Mainieri will negotiate a buyout and leave now. He’s a classy guy who’s just basically “checked out”, and it’s obvious. He has no fire for the game anymore.
