Will LSU give Brian Kelly time to turn it around?

I’m not calling for his head but Kelly is likely 3 recruiting classes away from turn program around and competing on championship level. That would be Walker Howard’s senior year. Will LSU be patient enough to to let him do it?

Dude has a $100mm contract - he gets all the time he needs.
Anyone expecting a good year in his first year after LSU had 39 schools players doesn’t live in reality.
Any hire should be judged in the direction of the program on year 3

And it’s why he was signed long term. This is a damn rebuild. The program wasn’t in good shape and it’s gonna take time. If people would just accept that, maybe they could quit living and dying with every damn game and enjoy it for what it is.

Comical to even think about for a guy that never won jack shite but games at ND against weak competition. Here for at least 5 more seasons after this year. A $ 36 million buy out after 6 years would still be absurd.

He's got a 10 year $95 million contract and his buyout is 90% of his remaining salary. So...yes.

I’m not arguing with you but the announcer said Tenn. had 37 new players. I think we need to use the transfer portal better. The way things are now if your willing to spend the money you shouldn’t have to wait on QB to mature.

Yeah, for better or worse BK is our head coach for a while.
