Anyone who pulls for Bama doesn't know a fricking thing about recruiting.

Never in history, not now, not ever in the future.

I have supported Alabama in various Iron Bowls over the years, mainly because that result would help LSU - but my heart was never in it.

(Even the $cam Newton year - )

Absolutely not! The SEC is comprised of 14 member institutions but they don't represent them equally. The SEC HQ is committed to the best interests of the state of Alabama at the expense of 12 universities.

We all know the special treatment afforded through scheduling, officiating, and marketing of a few schools as it's well documented. You can also look at items such as the baseball tournament. Why is the tourney held in Hoover each year? We comprise an eleven state region yet Hoover, Alabama is the only place with a suitable ballpark? There are probably 100 more desirable towns in our region fans would prefer to visit than Hoover.

What about the bowl game in Birmingham? Can you imagine being excited about going to a bowl game only to learn it's in Birmingham? Take a look at how the SEC HQ has aligned the bowl tie-ins. Starting next year it's possible to be ranked in the top 15 and still have to play in Birmingham. With cities like New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, Tampa, Houston, Orlando, Nashville, Jacksonville, San Antonio, Kansas City, Memphis, Charleston, etc. in our collective 11 state region...how in the hell do we have a contract with a bowl in Birmingham? It's just another example of the SEC HQ taking care of their own.

Even the baseball tournament added two teams last year. Do you believe it was to help the scheduling format? NO...it was to ensure bottom feeders like Alabama and Auburn don't get left out of the field.

We don't even need to discuss compliance and sanctions. Everybody knows how that works in Birmingham.

My days of supporting the SEC are over. Until they relocate out of the state of Alabama they won't get my support. I would love to see a mass exodus of teams bail out on them.

What's funny is how LSU remains the ALL-TIME National Championship leader of the SEC even without the support of the HQ.

I won't root for Bama. I do appreciate the way Saban coaches and works. When you look at scholarship limits in today's college game Saban might be in the conversation for the best college coach in history. His record speaks for itself.

At some point it stops being the SEC Dominance and all you will start to hear is the Alabama Dominance.

Go Auburn and Go Noles/Bears. Granted, if it somehow ends up Bama vs Buckeyes, go Bama.
