Even though Florida is technically in the "south", I don't consider it, or FSU for that matter, "south" in the way I think you are hinting at.

Might be bc FSU is the likely opponent and team most capable of winning

As an LSU alumnus, I have many personal and business relationships with other SEC alumni, and if I can't have a birthday cake in January, then I have a passive hope that one of them gets the cake. They're good folks.

Why are you so fixated on this retarded "birthday" analogy? Are you that dense or just oblivious to the fact that Alabama winning another national title does not bode well for LSU's football program? No one gives a frick about your "professional" relationships you have with gumps that you've manage to attain as a "proud alumnus". Get off your holier-than-thou high horse.

I'd tell you how you're acting, but you'd just act way more that way than you already are. You know what I'm talking about.

I will pull for Bama. I'm a Tiger fan who realizes that if it weren't for Saban , we would not have to 2 championships in this century. So yes I will cheer them on.

as much as I hate Bama..and I do, I had to live there.

I have to do what is best for LSU in the long haul, regardless of personal feelings, and that is to maintain the image that SEC is the strongest conference. Therefore I hope Bama wins, damn it hurts to say that.

BTW, for the record, If FL ST plays them I think Bama loses

best QB I have watched this year.
saw the first game 26 of 27 passes and the 27th could have been argued as a catch.

awesome performance and by a freshman

Not a chance from me.

I do have a friend (LSU fan) who rooted for Bama in the LSU game because they have a shot at the NCG and he wants the SEC to win.

How is a school that is a divisional AND recruiting rival winning their 4th title in the last 5 years good for LSU "in the long haul"?

Will the SEC suddenly suck if Bama manages to lose in the NCG? 2005 was the last year in which a non-SEC school hoisted the crystal ball. How many Bama titles in a row do you want just to maintain this image you speak of?

Bama winning would be TERRIBLE for LSU recruiting. I'd pull for auburn though, that would hurt Bama's recruiting a little. Auburn doesn't dabble in Louisiana talent like Bama does.
