However, notice Bama lost just as many folks as we did to graduation, draft, etc. Bama though, still plays fundamentally sound football every week. Maybe some growing pains here and there but solid and disciplined. Thats is ALL coaching!!!

Bama isn't playing anywhere near the amount of freshman we're playing. At one point Saturday we had Mills, Collins, Eugene & Debo all on the field at the same time in a big time SEC atmosphere.

I don't give a shite if you like it or not, truth is the truth! There have been multiple times that he has won and cost us games.

I am a Miles fan, but the stubbornness that miles displayed in that game cannot be overlooked.

i agree this is one of his biggest faults. He stuck stubbornly with JJ. He stubbornly insists on running into the teeth of stacked boxes.

Nonetheless, he goes toe-to-toe with the best of his peers. If he could just get a little "smarter and aggressive" with his offense in attacking defenses, IMO he could cross that final boundary of respect, and success.

He may do it anyway, but it's stretching your team pretty far.

If bama wouldn't have begged there way into the NC game. We would have all slept better for the last year and maybe talking about a dynasty. Now bama is back on top and things are out of control.

I would say if that ISU meteor didn't cross the sky...but that is pretty much it.

Let's face it -IMO he's clearly a top 3 head coach in the country.

Deal. I'll face that that is your opinion.

So, no other coach in america has flaws or lost games they shouldn't have?

Oh you're right, that is a fact. Coaching is really easy to isolate and draw facts from a record.

I just find it kind of humorous that everyone expects perfection.

It'll NEVER happen. EVER.

Coaches are remembered for wins and championships. Les has a few of each.

I don't think anybody is arguing that he is the worst coach in America. Why is the standard for being a top 3 coach not being the only person who blows games.

Yes they have won and lost games BUT they correct them. How much shite have we corrected on Offense? How many clock management and retard furcking play calls have we made over and over.Like I said, I like Miles and we can win with him but it worries me when a close, imortant game hangs on him making the right choices.

When did this become the standard? ULM? UAB? Miles doesn't have these.

Oh, was this thread about how good of a coach he'll be remembered as? Perhaps the OP should change the thread title than. I have no doubt that the sheep who overlook the recurring in game buffoonery will remember him as an all time great. I was speaking as to what is deserved.

LMAO at this poster. Yeah, using their record as a way to evaluate a coach is a TERRIBLE idea. LOL Everyone knows that coaches are not hired/fired/evaluated on success (wins/losses) on the field.

Yes, every time he's paid, his account is credited accordingly.

Where do you think he falls in the coaching ranks? How do YOU think he should be remembered?

LMAO again. So please tell me, what is your criteria for evaluating a coach. It is a given that wins/losses are not important to you....HAHA.....you do realize that LES has led LSU to it's best 7 1/2 year stretch in LSU history, and during that time LSU is near or at the top of the NCAA in winning %....this is hilarious. You are either that ignorant, or I suspect just trolling.
