Will Kevin Steele improve on his last bowl performance vs a spread offense?

590 yds and 63 pts vs West Virginia in 2012

Those WVU offensive statistics look pretty similar to TTU

If I remember correctly, he didn't coach the bowl game.

Nobody has held Texas Tech under 26 points all season long, and they topped 35 nine times.

Kevin Steele made history by being the first LSU DC to give up 20 or more points nine times in a row.

lets hope LSU's offense can keep up!

TT is going to put up some points. DB's are going to have to have a good game. Going to need pressure on D line.

frick. I'm pretty sure I missed that stat and could have gone the rest of my life without knowing it!

When you consider the shite shows at QB we faced during that stretch............damn. That's just sad.

Considering SC only went over 20 because of a kick off TD, that stat, at least how you worded it, is technically incorrect.

They can't stop the run, so they won't put up those numbers.

No better team to play to get our young DB's more experience for next year; while at the same time enjoying LF practicing his 40 time for the combine next year.

I think one TD was from a defensive or special teams score.

I'm honestly worried about his rumored panic attack disorder acting up if things start to go south quickly and reminds him of that fateful evening. Rumor around here is that it got so bad in that game that he began calling plays from his time with the Carolina Panthers and his Clemson players had no idea what was going on.

Oh well that makes me feel much better about the defense's chances.

I guess Western Kentucky would most closely resemble Texas Tech, out of the teams LSU has played. I consider that game a victory for Steele as his squad only gave up 428 yards and 20 points. I'm looking for a bit of the same out of the Steele Curtain today.

that WVU team that won the Big East played 3 ranked teams.

a 26 point home loss to LSU
a 3 point road win at cinncinati

and a beatdown of clemson, who was actually a 3.5 point favorite.
