When has Jefferson ever delivered a Tebow-esque performance?

He's gonna do it. Not just RR long. RR short. OBJ long and short. RS long and short. Clement and Peterson long and short. And backs out of backfield.

Of course all of these won't happen, but you can bet Saboon is not going to let us win early with the option sweep.

He's going to make JJ beat us with his arm and JJ can do it. He will have to throw the ball hard when he throws short and across the middle and the receivers will catch it. He will hit them in stride so they won't get killed. The bamite dbs will converge quickly, but they cannot cover our receivers one on one. Not if the QB puts it on target.

He will also have to scramble and run for 1st downs.

If he can keep the bamoon defense on the field they will be sucking wind with 15 minutes left and then we will run between the tackles and around end at will.

Anyway, this is what I think.

Maybe you need to quit rolling and smoking whatever it is you are smoking. Did Tebow ever play in a key game in college where he exploded for 30 yards? Or failed to gain a first down for an entire half?

This board has been refreshingly devoid of threads about our two substandard QB's over the past couple of weeks. I guess when you and the family were opening presents JJ must have told you he needed some help getting his swag back on? What did you get him for Christmas-maybe some shoes?

Jarett Lee is a better game manager than Jefferson, but with the feud between him and Miles or whatever it is, he won't be seen. Jefferson is the key to this game. Both teams defenses will keep each other in check, it all depends on which QB can make enough plays for it's team to win.

LSU has much more playmakers than Alabama on offense. If you get it in Shep's hands on a fast slant he can take it to the house or Beckham who is now a vet after going through the season. They can drop back and beat Bama on a bomb to RR, if they get in the redzone they can pound it in with Ware or Hilliard.

Do the option with Ford outside or a quick draw with Blue bursting up the middle. A number of ways LSU can beat Bama, but Jefferson has to be on. I'm not being a homer by sayin Bama totally relies on Richardson, all their receivers can be shutdown in coverage. I honestly don't know how the hell Jefferson put up 30 yards of offense with the talent LSU has. just ridiculous!

The feud between Miles and Lee appears to be interception related. I have no doubt that should Jefferson throw two interceptions against Alabama that Lee would be back under center.

I trust that Miles will limit the passing game. If he does, I see JJ playing all of the game and think it's probably the best choice. If it comes down to a drive to win the game, in the lat two minutes, I want Lee.

Neither should be asked to "carry the team" as I don't think it's their strong suit. Hand the ball off, don't turn it over. Star of the game will come from the defensive side of the ball.

Hopefully we dont see that happen but hypothetically if JJ did throw 2 INT's in the BCS I would be more than happy to bet you we still dont see JL!

Les loves him some JJ! If the SECCG first half performance or should I say lack of performance by JJ didnt get him pulled I cant see anything getting him pulled! JJ is bulletproof!

One thing to be thankful for this holiday season is that people like Rudy40 do not make any personnel decisions on this team. 13-0 sec champs and playing in the title game and people like Rudy are complaining about play time for their favorite player. What a miserable bunch that portion of the fanbase is.

Leave it to you to judge a whole fan base on your opinion of a few posters.

Can you ever be happy? Just once? Type something positive about someone, something. See if you feel better.

Or are you going to argue that I am wrong?????? Please tell me you really think that if Jordan would have 2 INT's vs Bama or repeats his Georgia performance that you think he gets pulled? So either tell me I am wrong or admit what the majority believe that no matter how poorly JJ plays he stays in the game! Now tell me that is a good thing that a starting qb plays no matter what his performance is????? That makes LSU better how?

I'm real happy Rog.

Be honest, are you trying to tell me that the continuous whining about play time is not ridiculous at this point?

I know you like to act unbiased when it comes to the qb situation but that is pretty laughable. I'm sure that you can at least admit the whining about mistreatment and favorite players play time is old and tired.

As long as we win, why the hell does it matter? Answer that.
