We won DESPITE JJ.

you have got to be kidding JJ will not start and I cant believe anyone would think so The games LSU won were in spite of him not because of him

I wish you were correct. But, Les has shown that he will start Jefferson regardless of whether or not someone else performs better than him at the QB position. He has also shown that he will never change a starting QB unless it is due to injury.

Jefferson is his guy. Win or lose. Jefferson cost us the Arkansas game this year, which ended up meaning nothing. Hopefully Krags can keep him from giving the other team 7 points to start every game or going 3 and out on his first two possessions.

Stupid me. I thought it was b/c the defense couldn't stop Nile Davis and Ryan Mallet and gave up stupid plays at the end of the half. I agree that the offense sucked against Arkansas, but it was a group effort, not just Jefferson.

It was definitely a group effort.

In true character, the offense also contributed.

Once again you hit the nail right on the head. I personally saw JJ push the two LSU DB's together making them fall. Then later in the game I saw JJ trip an LSU DB which let the Arkansas reciever get behind him. That rascally JJ.

You are really on top of your game today. I had forgotten that JJ threw a pick six at the start of every game last year. Thanks for jogging my memory.

Now that's not fair...we loss on a team effort. Offense didn't get it done and defense gave up 3 big plays that resulted into touchdowns.

Good point. Funny how one good bowl game erases the memories of seasons of poor performance from JJ.

Can someone please tell me what was so great about his Bowl Game performance? I watched it, it was by far a very average game that any other QB would have put up 300 yds and 5 passing TDs against those scrubs that call themselves a D at aTm

HE DIDN'T MAKE MISTAKES. That was the key to his performance. We didn't need 300 yards and 5 touchdowns. We just needed completions, low number of interceptions, and good game management. He did just that.

I think he will. If our offense cant be great next year with a Sr. QB, three 5* receivers and a 5* running the ball, then I dont know what the problem is. I would like to see Mett as QB, but I see JJ starting every game

a pretty weak arse question.all you have to know is who has final decision on starters. all of the players, not just offensive side. then you will be abel to figure it out

Alright then, you take that QB... Those types of QB's don't win Championships

And before anyone starts saying Mauck and Flynn were game managers you are wrong... Those guys made plays when it mattered...
