Proof that fans just complain about anything with no real factual basis
LOL, the poster admitted he made up the 95% part about touchbacks.

You do the math. If you aren't losing games because of it, you are fine.
So, if we had come back last year and beat Florida St in the opener on some freak play, special teams would've been considered fine?
Taking that flawed logic to the next level, we didn't lose the Arkansas or Missouri games this year. Does that mean the defense was fine?
If something is below average (much less broken), you dont wait to lose a game to fix it. Or God forbid, we try to make it a unit that wins the occasional game for us.

It went largely unnoticed due to attention being on a horrific defense, and the fact that it didn't really matter where the offense started with the ball because they were most likely gonna score anyway.
No it went unnoticed because teams rarely punted. And with the new kickoff rules pretty much everything is a touchback.

This board is so frickin dumb sometimes, it's hard to handle. As if I meant that literally.
Yea buddy, fumbling a punt to the other team is fine!!
missing PAT's is fine!!!
Yea guy, just as long as you win these are fine!
dumbfrick. FOH

We just simply aren’t going to be as efficient on offense next year…so we’ll see for sure how the ST play will be. Wonder if we bring in another punter…or give the 6’5” 250lb punter a shot.

You literally said as long as they don't cost us a game, special teams are fine. But then again, posting has never been your strong suit.

The defense cost lsu games but they still won 9 games. I care about the process, not the results. It’s a figure of speech, take it how you will
