Will "good pitching" beat "good hitting"?

Holds true often in baseball.
Will Bama's strength, their defense, be able to contain JD5 and Boys? Or will the best offense in CFB wear away at the Tide because LSU has too many weapons to throw at you?

Should be must-see TV

"Good pitching" beats "good hitting" but it doesn't beat "on fire" hitting. Right now JD&Co are on fire.

If w can force 2.25 punts a half I like our chances.

Two totally different sports.

Good pitching always beats good hitting.
Great offense in football doesn't always beat very good defenses.

Ok, I have to know. What exactly is .25 if a punt?

I don't see us putting up 40 something like we did in 2019. I think 31-35 will be a very good showing this week and if we get a decent performance from the defense it will be enough to win.

I just don't see, as bad as our defense has played to date, bama doing what OM and Mizzou did to us.

Football rules are set up now for Offenses to succeed. So advantage Offense vs Defense IMO. The game has changed.

I still think the key will be how LSU defends Milroe
You have to pressure him and he may break a run or two but if you let him sit back like you did against Jefferson at Ark it's gonna be a long day for the LSU defense

In the passing game I want Milroe making quick decisions under duress because I think you can get him to make mistakes that way

Yeah, milroe is garbage once he’s flushed from the pocket.

"good" pitching does not beat "all-time great" hitting.

That's what this game is.

This is also a very dumb analogy as the 2 sports are in no way similar.
