With Will Clapp recently being named to the Remington award watch list, does anybody else feel like he will have a breakout season at center?

Clapp has the prototypical build to play the center position and stood out at left guard his first two years. The only reason he didn't start right away at center was because of Pocic. Other than Pocic, I can't think of another o-lineman who has been more consistent over the past two or three years.

I think based on what we have seen from him and his build, Clapp could potentially be in for one of the best seasons we've seen from the center position in quite some time.

What says the rant

He seemed better as a freshman than as a sophomore from what I remember.

He has a lot of potential though and I think he'd make a great center and allow us to get our best 5 on the field at once.

He's had a hard time staying healthy. When he is right, he can be down right nasty up front.

The only reason was we had bozo the clown as head coach.

Not saying I disagree with you, but all Les did for Pocic was make him the 58th overall player chosen in the draft. And all signs point toward him playing center for the Seahawks. Les actually deserves credit for this one.

its just hard for me with the O line. They had so many publications that thought lsu's o line was one of the best in the nation. But, Alabama just destroyed the line for the last few years. I really do not understand wtf. Maybe with the new OC the misdirection and motion can take stress off the line.

I believe Pocic is working out at right tackle for the Seahawks.

Seahawks definitely want Pocic at RT. Clapp definitely an inside guy next level. If he does well at C this year then he'll go as high as Pocic

If his shoulders are healthy, this kid will be just as good as Pocic and won't have the same leverage issues Ethan had with shorter powerful NTs.

The fact the Pocic was a good as he was at 6'7 was truly amazing.

he is. They said they know he can play center but want to see him at right tackle during camp. He's obviously well suited for both. There are reasons to bitch about miles but pocic isn't one of them.
