Lol yes we're going to run the ball down 2011 Bama's 8 man fronts when they know exactly what to expect. Brain-Les was convinced by first Bama games, Arkansas and UGA games that he could just have the offense play not to lose and wait for a big play from defense or special teams to flip the momentum. It didn't happen in the rematch. That loss and the fact that we still have trouble attracting certain recruits because they think last year's offense was a one-hit wonder are are squarely on the dumbfrick Miles who only Kansas wanted

Will Blackwell is a pathetic lil bitch, always blaming Miles for his personal failures to play worth a damn. Truth is, he and the team lost bc they played like shite, plain and simple, and been pointing fingers ever since.

O line was damned near 100% responsible for that loss
Nah that was Leslie Miles who didn’t have his team ready to play in the biggest game of the year

"Durrr the option with JJ caught Bama off guard a couple times in the regular season, so obviously will work all game a month later" Absolute disgrace that buffoon made untold millions as a state employee

Piles is the most baby back of bitches, eg while in retirement and still receiving unearned millions, he took one of his typical cheap shots at CEO (who was busy cleaning up his mess) just a few months after being in TS for a halftime ceremony. Then he showed his true cowardly colors and denied he had done so. We have upgraded tremendously not just in onfield performance but in character from Class-Les, and some of yall are still upset about that apparently.

Defense played a hell of a game IMO.

Say what you will but can you imagine the backlash with him starting Lee and LSU still losing. He's racist. He chose the white guy. Tell me you dont think this would have happened and ill call you a liar.

Lee makes NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER in the BCSNG
Correct.
I have always agreed with people who say Miles should have put Lee in against Bama in the natty. The offense with Jefferson was as inept as it gets. There was nothing to lose.
I have also always said that it wouldn't have mattered. We wouldn't have scored. Lee would have probably thrown a pick six.
Nobody moved on that Bama defense. We didn't, game 1. The defense held strong in a heroic effort, but with Lee, it was going to be in vain. He wasn't good enough.
Jefferson's running was the X factor in that game, the lone thing that enabled anything.
Bama had a long time to prepare for that after the fact, and when the rematch was announced, we were toast. We simply didn't have the ability to move. Lee would have been a disaster, JJ was a slow death.
It's unfair that LSU had to play them twice, but that's the breaks. It would be like the year the Giants beat the Patriots and gave them their lone loss; let's say the league and TV said ok let's play another time, winner take all. Patriots would have crushed them in a rematch.
That's why rematches suck, they eliminate the heroic miracle win when the better team loses the first time.
The thing is, LSU fans really missed the boat on that season. Sure, Alabama turned out to be the champ, that was probably an alltime great team. But LSU and Miles lined up and beat them, the first time they met. WE won when it was still unknown who could really do what. Bama needed to get up to speed.
