We tried this in Camp and it was not pretty. We struggled to get the snap down. As bad as that sounds its true. We do not need to do any wildcat.

was it center or qb's fault? both? did Moore and Chester both have trouble?

I don’t disagree with you

There is a great Kyle Shanahan interview on PMT a few year back and he talks about how a good fullback and a running QB are absolutely game changers in the run game

QBs for the reasons you states and FB because you can send them to either side and dictate numbers post snap

but the FB needs to be a threat in the passing game to keep teams from keying in on run plays and to keep you from limiting your options when you do pass

Combination. Johnson and Moore had trouble with the snap. Sometimes it was Moore sometimes it was Johnson but there were faults on both sides which is why the team went away from practicing it. Sometimes the snap would hit the motion when they were trying to time it up with jet sweep/pass.

If the tight end misses the blitz, the quarterback can tuck the ball and run around the opposite side, using the free tight end as a lead blocker. This flexibility helps offset mistakes and keeps the defense guessing.

Great idea for those 3rd and Juan scenarios.

However, with a quarterback who has virtually no mobility

I'm so tired of this narrative. Nuss can move, he just doesn't tuck it and run every chance he gets. He is actually very mobile in the pocket and is great when he resets the pocket, especially moving to his right. He did this alot more last year. He moves to throw, and when it is open he will take it. In fact, he runs a lot more like Burrow did in '19 (calm down...I'm not calling him Burrow!). At any rate, Nuss is not a statue, and in fact avoids a lot of pressure with his legs
