Watched 2003 National Championship game in Afghanistan. (Notable Mention: I had to listen to LSU Ole Miss in Afghanistan in a Computer tent, temps were freezing cold, streaming audio, at FOB Salerno. Manning had me worried.... Glad I got to hear it..)

Hospital emergency room, where my Ma had a seizure, and my Dad back spasms from stress. Auburn beat LSU on the game where Cecil Collins ran out of his shoe. Weekend could only get better, if you know what I mean.

I watched the LSU baseball championship over Miami in (whatever year it was) at my little league baseball park, in full uniform, right before our game.
Our game was scheduled to start right around the start of the 9th inning. One person had a TV, that had to be, i shite you not, like a 12" screen, maybe less. I mean it was TINY!
All the games around us were put on hold, and there was about 100 people huddled around this TV resting on a wooden rail right outside of the concession stand, all squinting to see the 9th inning. Parents, players, coaches, everyone! There were these two latino kids who were all Miami and flapping at the mouth the entire 9th inning. I worked my way up to right in front of the TV and had a perfect seat, right next to those little Latino bastards (i think it was their TV).
We all know how the story ended on that one. Two dead in the 9th, down by one... yack!! down the line just over the right field wall. The entire park went absolute apeshit! Those Miami kids were stunned and shut their damn mouths!
Its my absolute, all-time favorite LSU sports moment, and that's saying a lot because I easily love football more than baseball. It was an awesome experience that I'll never forget.

Couldn't watch it, but I listened to a radio broadcast on a cell phone inside a truck where I could get good reception. Three years ago. I should get a prize!
