Well obviously the starter is always "overwhelmingly" better... isn't it obvious?

do you know the difference between the following?"

1) possible - YES
2) plausible - MAYBE
3) likely - NO

When are people on this board going to learn how to think proportionate to what is being discussed. Far too many simpleton or lazy or sloppy thinkers.

I would put it in the plausible category, so my answer is maybe

Yeah, a coaching staff's starting one over the other 24 to 1 is such an "underwhelming" statement as to their opinion of "superiority".

That's fine...they are both LSU QBs and we have been lucky to have both here for the last two years.

That's really really silly.

I sometimes wonder if posters go to work and think "You know he is the boss therefore he knows more than me and I should not question his decisions."

or they do the same for their spouses...
or if they do it for others like cops, firefighters, etc... etc... etc...

Both Lee and JJ have proven (with the exception of one game) they are both poor QB's.

Don't you remember last season?

By now if they were going to preform it would have happened. JJ can only do well with weeks of prep.. Lee is never consistant.

Mett should start. I don't beleave Miles. He will play who he wants to play.

How much worse could mett be then these two?

Yeah, but what was silly was the 24-1 ratio of starts used to justify "overwhelming superiority."

I guess Andrew Hatch was an overwhelmingly superior QB to JJ and Lee.

so you think that is a 'plausible' statement. That Lee one day has the chance to be a top NFL QB? To think Lee could ever make it on an NFL roster is even F'n retarded. He's short, unathelitic, and easily rattled. His field vision is terrible. Pluses: He has a quick release and at times can make a quick accurate throw that makes you wonder where that came from. I'm not saying Jordan is 'overwelmingly' more talented. JJ has a lot of defects also. I don't think anyone is saying he will be an NFL QB either.

Since he spent a little time at UGA, by fall he should be "acclimated to big time college football."

Well your true feelings are starting to show

quote:

He's short,
6'2" is short?

Drew Brees 6'
Aaron Rodgers 6'2"
Mark Sanchez 6'2"
Michael Vick 6'
Ryan Fitzpatrick 6'2"
Brett Favre 6'2"

while 6'2" is not ideal size it isn't like the guy is 5'11"

Although I do like the attempt to save:

all those guys are much much much more athletic. Also, is he really 6'2". Looks like he is 6'1".

Is Drew Brees really 6 foot? Probably not...
Although I doubt the rest of them are really the height listed either....

I doubt Jefferson is really 6'5" as well

Do you realize how athletic Drew Brees is. Can dunk a football over a goalpost. Beat Pete Sampras (or somebody like that) in tennis when they were teanagers. Dude is an unreal athlete. Lee couldn't dunk a football if he jumped off a trampoline.

So you know this how, or are you only speaking from an opinion. Do you have some facts to base this off, I mean this type of bashing is uncalled for without some facts to back it up.

1. I don't hate Lee. 2. I don't have any connection to JJ. 3. I am not 'thequad'

so if you say anything that can be constued as negative about Lee you are a hater? I'll try to even it out then by saying something about Jefferson: JJ at times looks lost and confused, at times it looks like he couldn't hit the side of a barn with a football from 20 yards out, if his primary reciever is open he might complete a pass, but other than that forget it.

Same way if you say something negative about Jefferson you are a racist/hater

A lot of hate for Lee in this thread....

I wonder what would cause the biggest meltdown

1. Jefferson starting all season
2. Mett starting all season
3. Lee starting all season

I think Lee getting the opening start would cause the board to meltdown
