I might be in the minority on this but I think Miules has been correct in starting jj so far because he knew we could win these game with our defense. we didn't need to take the risk that jl brings to the game. A WIN IS A WIN.

I do believe Miles sees that we will have problems at florida if the offense continues this way and I EXPECT JL TO PLAY IN THE FLORIDA GAME because the risk is that we could lose the florida game without any offense so play jl. we didn't need him and need to POSSIBLY TAKE ON ADDITIONAL RISK YET. florida game we need additional risk to win.

it was ridiculous to see Miles in PPs ear right after he got the penalty, and then when they came back from commercial, he was still in his ear.. effectively killing the teams mojo at a point when we were about to run away with it..

ive never seen him spend half that much time talking to a player about a fumble or interception.. ive never seen him get after JJ about anything..

PP knowingly cost the team 15 yards for no good reason. He should have been told to hit the showers and come back on Monday thinking about the team first.

This issue is of big concern for the rest of the season. Miles really needs to meet with his team & clear the air. Is it possible the receivers have given up on JJ? At this point, Miles really needs to look at everything. It seemed that by the 2nd half, JJ just became unglued, his passes were way off the mark, & he was openly upset.

You and Miles don't get it. Do you really think JL is supposed to just go in and play v. Florida's defense without any meaningful snaps in other games? The very fact that the first four games were winnable is the very reason you put guys like JL in to get game experience.

If we throw him into a situation like Bama last year, then we can expect the same result since he hasn't had any appreciable game time yet.

IF the WRs are really this upset with the QB play, play calling etc I would have to believe it has as much to do with what they see JJ and JL do in practice as much as with play in the games. Remember, they have a birds-eye view of practice performance. If JJs in-game performance is merely a continuation of what happens in practice surely those guys would be upset that there isn't a change at QB.

What Les Miles did to JL is unexcusable and abusive.

Telling a guy to get ready, then changing your mind? You think this has never happened before in sports?

I'm not a Miles fan, but c'mon.

Did you ever see Miles addressing the multiple holding and illegal proceedure penalities to Barksdale or Logerun? I didn't and if that is true, Les Miles has a double standard which will cause the team to implode. Can you hear the ticking........tick, tick, tick

Les has a total lack of "want" to have an effective passing game!

Jordy H reported from teh sideline that PP ran to Miles and said "sorry, I know I shouldn't have done that and it won't happen again" ... reported that Miles said he understood the excitement but didn't want it to happen again.

My take was Jefferson, who we all know is mentally fragile started out in a good place. He had a few drops, got frustrated and folded.

Last night I felt sorry for him and when 82 dropped that first down pass I told my wife the receivers just ruined him for the night. When he started yelling at 82 it was obvious he lost it.

While jj is mostly at fault his receivers certainly aren't doing him any favors.

Let the kid have his fun. We are letting Mr. Jefferson have his.

You're saying that Miles getting in the ear of his best player for showboating after a TD, and not getting in the ear of a guy after second down penalty is a double standard? Favoritism? Not really sure what you're getting at as far as a double standard.

When Lee stepped in the huddle, the crowd was cheering loudly.

Les then pulls JJ back in.

Wonder is Les did that because the fans were cheering for JL.
