It's like the statement someone made that "...no matter what, Ole Miss will always be a runt". ACC football will always be inferior to the SEC. Wouldn't you want to compete against the best?

Urban Meyer comes to mind. He took the easy way out.

Look I get what you are saying but the reality is that every success these days is measured by meeting lofty expectations of winning conference championships, playoff appearences, and NC's every year like Bama.

Why would anyone want to take a harder road when they can easily stay in a weaker conference and an easier road to playoffs.

ACC is not inferior, last I checked Clemson beat LSU and made Bama earn that NC trophy. FSU won the NC.

Having talked to someone who knows Fisher, absolutely "loves" LSU and the time he spent here. A special place...

he can lose 3 or 4 games for the next 2 years and call it rebuilding....Once Orgeron, Peevy and Aranda leave, recruiting will be the worst its been in years...Peevy is not a coach, but a hell of a recruiter...but dont worry, Jimbo can develop qbs (winston is really good...LOL) Played well against Oregon....and name any others that have been successful.... If he comes to LSU, we are a second rate team for years to come...If you think Miles was bad-just wait.

U lose credibility for wanting a career dline coach who Syracuse wouldn't even interview and who in 3 decades not one HC has offered him a DC job.

When he can stay in ACC and fight off lesser talented teams and an easy path to playoffs every year?

Maybe because he's not a pussy and wants to play with the best? Saban isn't going to coach forwcer, and jimbo can then be the king of the best conference.

quote:

Coach 'O' is our best bet, don't blame the loss on him. It was the players who fumbled and didn't execute. We were moving the ball on Florida all game long.

Sure, the players made some bad mistakes. But, they were not motivated whatsoever.

Also, Bama and fla are the only teams we've played with a Damn pulse, and our offense struggled bigly. O chose those gameplans, instead of the offense We ran against mizzou, we went back to the les miles game plan. If you can't see that, you are blind. The Florida game shouldn't have been close enough for those few mistakes to have mattered. We are far superior in talent and experience.

Long story short, he screwed the pooch.
