With Mett coming in, we all thought we were getting back to the days where we had a formidable offense. Mett didn't initially look stellar and we have 1,254,953 running backs on our depth chart, so why not just keep doing what's gotten you W's all these years.

MIles is becoming Cholly Mc....
if he does not change....
he will have a winning record, lose to AL every year and eventually get fired.....the more it goes the more it seems this way.

you can not even come close to comparing big 12 defenses to the SEC's. ask mizlou and a&m. sure we have some that aren't that good but our top tier teams are the best defenses in college football.

LSU had #9 total offense in 2007. #14 in 2006.

His teams have gotten it done in the past. He's just never seemed to recover from the (-) Perriloux (+) Crowton debacle.

1.) Can't develop a QB 2.) Playing SEC defenses Not a good formula to work with.

This is so over blown its laughable. Miles has had 4 qb.2 of them lasted Atleast 3 years in the NFL and another one lasted all preseason.

because Miles isn't running the offense....his qb's are. if Mett and the recievers (other than Boone) were pulling their weight we would be, IMO, undefeated

This. Any play called can be successful, IF THE PLAYERS EXECUTE. D1 wr coaches are NOT practicing securing the ball after a catch.

He missed on RP, JJ, JL, and now possibly Mett, all because of character flaws. We need to start recruiting QBs who are good citizens and have heart.

Everyone of those qbs were top 10 at the qb position. JLee was an elite 11 qb.

Not buying the SEC defenses theory. We lot up SEC defenses last year. Auburn was 'lit up' this year by everybody but...

I think ZM has to be considered like a new, freshman QB. And he had no QB to learn from.

We are not breeding good QB's.

That was a really good coaching staff on that side of the ball

It was. If Miles had that staff with Chavis, we would have won 3 crystals .

4 out of the top 5 offenses in LSU's ENTIRE HISTORY are Miles coached teams. This myth that his offenses always suck at LSU is just as false as the myth thy TM7 couldn't cover. It gets said on here and the mindless idiot think its true. There was nothing wrong with our offense last year.
