Outside looking in-the rest of the nation mostly agree its dumb to fire a coach with Les Miles resume-he will probably go 8-3 this year and possibly win a bowl game-outside of Louisiana, that does not happen.

hey think LSU being a perennial 3 or 4 loss team is ok. They believe we have a natural ceiling and shouldn't complain.

I say screw that and risk it all. Things can't get much worse than being trampled at home at night. At worst, you're still irrelevant.

I completely agree. At this point we don't know whether it's Miles fault or whether LSU's ceiling really is to be an also ran in the SEC that occasionally competes for titles.

I would rather know for sure either way than let Miles hang around forever.

last place something like this happened was at Nebraska. Frank Solich followed Tom Osborne, averaged 10 wins a season (which wasn't enough), and they canned him. Nebraska has yet to recover.
Btw, Osborne coached from 73 through 97. Generally considered a legend. Didn't win his first national title until 94.

Significantly means diff things to diff people.

IMO LSU has indeed slipped significantly.
Past three games, look no further.
