I'd rather Miles' calm demenor on the side line over Tebow's constant cheerleading routine

I never said cheerleading, but, like he did last night, getting into the faces of his players after 2 quarters of less than stellar O line play. as per what I said earlier, I am going to reserve some of my judgments until we play a team where we shouldn't play 'vanilla' and that everyone should be fired up for. And in the case of Florida, they were playing Tenn, and that's a team to get up for.

My question is more of our DC. Chevis is a sideline DC(not in the coach's box)...there isn't any passion or fire coming from him. At this time I will defer to his past success and extend the benefit of the doubt. I've not seen this style before...if Miles not our sideline fire Chevis has to be since Crowton is upstairs

We haven't been playing vanilla in any way. We just haven't been running many quick strike plays. When we do we usually don't connect.

All of the screens, read options, etc aren't what I'd call vanilla.

Chavis is native american, and as part of his bloodline, he does not show emotion. At least that's what I think

He's making bank now. You get a little soft and complacent as a result of that. Miles will keep us at about a 9-3 average while he is here but will never have the drive or intensity of a Nick Saban or Urban Meyer. We will maintain an Outback/Cotton/Capital One Bowl status for the forseeable future but with the SEC West in particular being tougher now I would stop hoping for SEC Championships/National Championships anymore. You have to reset your expectations in order to not be disappointed.

I think 9-3 would be a great year considering how we're currently playing. Beyond this year and last, my concern is that while our recruiting has remained at a high level, the quality of play has not. Is youth a factor, definitely. Is that the only mitigating factor? Most definitely not.

Another year or so of underachieving with top-notch talent sends a negative message to future big-time recruits who are trying to decide between the top programs in the country. Another less than stellar year and we're viewed as a program on the decline, whether or not it's actually true. The Saban's, Myer's, Petrino's and Nutts of the coaching community won't waste any time painting us as SEC also-rans. And, if they're winning and we're not, they'll be absolutely right.

We heard during the offseason about the drive on this team and how things were going to be different, but that hasn't happened.
This is part of the problem...with the way this team was talked about during the summer, you would've thought this team was gonna come out and kick everyone's asses. What we've seen made it seem like maybe we were just having sunshine pumped up our asses. I just don't think we expected three uninspiring performance with an uninspired staff on the sidelines.

While it does not mean the sky is falling, this is not the performance that the coaching staff all but guaranteed during Fall practice.
Nope.

Tebow's constant cheerleading routine

Does he do that shite after every play now? I wonder what he is saying. "Come on! Guy's come on! You can do it! Come on, guys!"

I would rather see Tebow than the lethargy that has taken over the LSU team like a cancer.
