Miles may have kicked our player off the team for this.
The SEC should have suspended Spikes. They spend so much time suspending and citing referees, apologizing to SEC teams that got rogered by bad calls, but apparently don't have time to deal with matters like this.

IMO- Meyer could take LSUs players and beat Florida's players coached by Miles
Tweaked the wording to drive home the point.

Give me a frickin break - Meyer has three more wins. Saban had a worse record than miles and played in a far weaker SEC west+Florida .
Miles could literally go 11-2 the next five seasons, save every negatigers dog from a burning building, and you guys would STILL find shite to bitch about. Here are the facts re discipline:
meyer has yet to kick anyone off the team after his first year. Since then his players have been caught with weed, stolen cars, firing automatic weapons in parking lots, and to my knowledge nobody has been suspended for this.
Miles has kicked off Odom and Perrilloux, and other bad apples like Xavier Carter have persued other options. Anyone who knows anything about football knows you can't sustain a program more than 7 years with that type of lack of discipline (see Miami, Fla State, Arizona state, Tennessee)
We are in avoid shape

I disagree. He has been able to win after struggling against Ark & Miss St. 8-0 IMO, does not qualify as "underperforming".
The stripes won those games for Florida, not Meyer!!! Lets see what his offense looks like next year with Brantly who is NOT an option QB.

BCS Titles
Meyer - 2 in 4 years
Miles – 1 in 4 years
Advantage Meyer
Conference Titles
Meyer – 4
Miles – 1
Advantage Meyer
Worse SEC conference record
Meyer - 5-3 (also his worse at other schools)
Miles - 3-5 (2-6 and 4-4 in 2 of 4 years at OSU)
Advantage Meyer
Worse finish in conference as head coach, regardless of college
Meyer – 3rd
Miles – 5th (did not finish above 3rd place in the Big 12 South during his tenure)
Advantage Meyer

Who had the tougher "coaching up" assignment?

Miles following Saban?
Meyer following Zook?

It's okay to say you like Miles over Meyer, but please don't make our fanbase sound any more dumb than it already is by suggesting Miles is a better coach.

Miles is a better coach than Meyers and will prove it over time. The big difference is Miles will never get credit, because he is a delagator and gives the coaches full control. Unfortuntely, he will never get credit for the wins, but will take full responsibility for the loses.
I personally think we will win more titles including this year before its over.
If you add up all of Miles pluses, I would take him over any college coach in America. Period!!

The only area of “coaching” CUM is better than Miles is offense. That’s it…. Defense, hires/staff, relations with community, relationship/role model with team (not counting his love affair with Tebow), recruiting, game decisions, discipline, honesty, integrity, special teams, handling adversity and any trait you want to associate with character all favor Miles. Coaching involves a lot more than just offense. Put me down for MILES!!!

All in favor say I....I. I don't think there's any comparison when it comes to having the great Character of Les Miles over Meyer. Our team has alot of class on and off the field, oh and we just so happen to win a few games also.

Defense
Oh yeah, LSU's defense was much better last year. And Florida's defense is better than ours this year.

hires/staff
Can you give me one example of Meyer making a bonehead hire like Miles did last year?

These are all the things you say when you can't factually support an argument. Meyer's record at Bowling Green, Utah and Florida speaks for itself.

LSU fans never had a problem with Saban when he was winning big.
I don't care for Saban, but I don't think he would condone that type of shite either.

I did not say that LSU had a better defense than Fla. last year. I said or implied that I feel Miles knows more about Defense than CUM. Do you remember Cum saying something about the defenses in the SEC when he first got to Fla. Something like “you’re not suppose to be that fast”. That leads me to believe that he has not been around very good defenses before he got to Fla. Does Fla a good defense…hell yes. Does CUM know more about defense than Miles? I say no.
Miles made arguably the best hires in one year ever last year. Chevis, Haley, and Cooper. Fla. has C Strong but I would take LSU’s staff over Fla.
“These are all the things you say when you can't factually support an argument”….no, these are things you say when your are discussing a complete coach.

i owuld rather have a team with long term consistency and know for good all around athletes, rather than a coach that rides one player(great visual) for 3 good years. meyer will bolt as soon as he gets i good offer from someone else. who would not want joe paterno as a couch ,great character, doen't win nc's ever year, but has competive teams, i think when we have bad years, it helps get rid of some of the fans with lack of character which is good for the rest of us.
