2005-present

Miles 49-12 record
Meyer 52-9

They are pretty even to me. If it wasn't b/c of JLee last year, I am sure they would be dead even.

Me also!

But I havew question for anyone to answer;
Why is Keiland Williams not getting as much playing time any longer? Is it due to not practicing hard enough or not playing hard enough when in the game, or is it disiplanary reasons for not playing as much? Someone please give me an answer for this!

Miles is not better than Meyers. I am a faithful Tiger fan and a huge Les Miles fan but he is not better than Meyers.I hate to say it but its the true

That's ok, because we are talking about Meyer.

Yeah, I know these posts suck.

I honestly don't know. My suspicion is, it's a combination of missed assignments and lack of initial burst if the play is not wide open.

i would take les miles over meyer, based on meyer's lack of character. he is suspending spikes on half a game against vandy for eye gauging. i think les miles has more balls and raises better all around athletes then meyer does, did you see tebows pathetic ecuse for spikes action. “I don’t think that we did anything in that game that they didn’t do”-tool

I agree with you overall but don't forget about the infamous spear against the gamecocks. Chit happens, it's an emotional game.

Well to Tebow's defense, he did not have the 'turn the other cheek" bible verse on his eye black.

If he had that would have made him a hypocrit.

Spikes is a street thug and should be suspended for 3 games.

Hell, go the Kelly route and suspend him for the year, I am not too sure that gouging an eye and punching a man giving you shite arent about the same.

I think the conference should get involved and say um, no, that's just like throwing a punch, and suspend him for an entire game.

I actually think Meyer is the one underperforming this year. Even with Baby Jesus they struggled to score against one of the worst defenses in the SEC (Arky) and needed 2 phantom calls to prevail.

Regardless, I'd take Miles every day over Meyer. Character is important.

I disagree. He has been able to win after struggling against Ark & Miss St. 8-0 IMO, does not qualify as "underperforming".

“I don’t think that we did anything in that game that they didn’t do,” Tebow said Monday. “If you go back and look at it and study it, you can see it in the film, too. It was an intense game, both teams were very passionate about it.”

Tim Tebow Super Christian- rationalizing a player trying to gouge out someone's eyes...So, if Spikes blinds him, is that a whole game suspension???

I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR TEBOW. A person should not defend actions like that./

Miles does have that on Meyer, but then again so does Hannibal Lector.

But I don't mean to diminish that about Miles because relative to his peers he ranks high character wise and that is important for me for our coaches to have that.

But unfortunately that is not what SEC coaches are judged on. By all other measures only LSU fans would take Les over Meyer.

Les Miles might be one of the classiest coaches in college football, but I'd still take Meyer over him any day. I know Urban can be a douche, but as long as we're winning I'm happy.

This is humorous. I dont dislike Les but anybody with a clue about football thinks Meyer is the better coach. And to say, "If he doesnt have Tebow, he doesnt win as much"(paraphrase)is also dumb.

I like how Meyer is classless since he is at Florida. If he was at LSU, you wouldnt give a shite as long as he won.

Saying you would take Miles bc he has more class and discipline is like the old " she has a good personality". It sounds good and all, but at the end of the day- I want my coach to recruit and sign the best players, develop them and win.

IMO- Meyer could take LSUs players and beat LSU and Miles

LSU fans never had a problem with Saban when he was winning big.

bullshite, sonnyboy. Plenty of us had problems with nick the midget and his little man syndrome bullshite. Plenty of the players did also. Don't kid yourself.
