Why Matt Canada is nothing special

Since he left NC State, the job he's held the longest, their offense has improved. He was in Raleigh from 2013 to 2015
In 2013, the offense averaged 5.1 yd/play with 240 passing yd/gm and 163 rush yd/game. His first year was his worst.
2014, we're looking at 6 yd/play with 204 rushing and passing yd/gm. This looks like his best year to me
Their offense got worse in 2015, they averaged 5.6 yd/play with 210 pass yd/gm and 203 yd/gm.
2016, Canada now in Pittsburgh, NC St. had 5.8 yd/play with 260 pass yd/gm and 156 yd/gm. Canada did have a damn good year with Pitt to his credit.
And in 2017 NC State improved to 5.9 yd/play with 271 pass yd/gm and 178 rush yd/gm. Similar yd/play as Canada's best year and a lot better passing offense.
NC State is surviving perfectly fine without Air Canada. I do think his offense is ideally suited for less talented players and it's clear his strength is running the ball. Even when he turned Peterman into an NFL QB at Pitt, they still only had 220 yd/gm in the air. I worry that Myles Brennan won't get to show off his arm in this offense.
I know there's many more stats to look at and compare, I think yd/play is the most telling stat. I'd love to take a deeper look at RZ numbers, they tend to indicate how strong of a playcaller a coach is.
If Canada leaves, I think we will be better off with an OC who wants to sling the ball around. It would suck to change offensive schemes again but it would suck even more to not see Brennan show off his arm to the rest of the OC.

He is better than Steve E. That is all that matters because we are about to hire him as the replacement

TLDR;
Our offense did wonders with a shitty QB, inexperienced O line, and injuries everywhere
You just wasted your time. There is NO objective reason for firing Canada after one season.
none.

That’s a lot of words to summarize “melt “.

You really like to speculate huh? Ensminger wasn't so bad as interim so what makes you think he's gonna be so god damn awful? And what makes you so sure he'll be the hire other than your shite attitude? Take your doom and gloom somewhere else. But yeah Ensminger better not be the hire.

Canada is good but he's no Aranda, life would go on without him. I don't think he should be fired for performance or any other reason and it definitely makes O look bad. If you're losing your shite over Canada then I question your judgement. Dude has had 1 very impressive year(2016). Stop wasting your time freaking out over someone who's replaceable

You said it not me. Thank you for making my point. Wish you didn't waste your time on that shitty post.
Goodnight.

How are you posting if you're illiterate? I never once said he should be fired yet you somehow conjured that. Next time pay attention in elementary school Billy Madison

Then why did Shrek hire him?
Posted on 12/29/17 at 11:25 pm to Corporal Beavis
I’ll be honest with you, after the BYU game I wasn’t sure about his offense. Didn’t really impress me and seemed like Cam Cameron’s offense with motion.

He had a damn good year at Pitt, and hell, he may've been the best hire available. He was Tigerdroppings hand picked OC so no one here is gonna like this thread. I had a NC State fan tell me earlier in the year that Canada wasn't as good as people like to think, that's why I looked into the numbers

Canada ain't bad but he's not elite

Gotta love those bungholes but they don't even know what a number is. Lucky for you my post is filled with significant statistics and sound logic. Enjoy

If he's so bad why did orgeron hire him when he promised to get the best coordinator possible?
Posted on 12/29/17 at 11:48 pm to justice
I didn't intend to make sound bad. Like Roger said, he decent but not the absolute best. It seems to me nobody loved him until all this info about the friction between him and O came out. My biggest concern moving forward is how Brennan is utilized, we need to take advantage of his strong arm while we have it. Sorry for the confusion

I figure there’s a reason just not sure what it is. I heard rumors about recruiting but will probably never know what that’s all about. Also read on here about Mississippi State coaches wife club lol have no damn clue what that’s about but would like to hear more

Feel free to pick my post apart and analyze any other numbers you'd like, but don't bring this weak shite trying to accuse me of being someone much more well-known than I actually am. All your doing is adding to the Idiocracy on the board.
