Stewert Mandle was talking shite about Miles and Hill so I sent him an email telling him he was married to a giant lesbian.

He has quieted down.

He shouldn't have to clear anything up. He's given as much (or probably more) information as is necessary.

Agreed. Where did you read/hear that Hill was to be "withheld"? Was that in the presser exactly? If so, I missed that part.

What did he expect? You can't talk in circles and the media not call You on it. Wtf is "Witholding Discipline"? That's just plain ol foolishness. Lol. Of course media will come after Miles for saying some mess likr that.

the thing is you are wanting accuracy in reporting and these days that's too much to ask for. yes, there are some commentators that actually check sources before reporting but it appears that many do not. why? well, my view is that they simply are not good at their trade; they practice the old ted baxter style of journalism.

I gave up ESPN (except for College Football games) several years ago. It helps.

Same. My brother still watches that crap, but unless a game is on, I don't turn to that channel.

Im not going to lie, the way they(media) have handled the Jeremy Hill situation is eye opening. Very unprofessional and dont even have the facts right. Basically lying to people. :shakeshead:

It was in the second press conference of fall camp, the first one after the main Hill PC.

Former Ravens and Chargers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron will make his LSU debut against Gary Patterson's defense, so we'll see right away how Cameron -- who last worked in college as Indiana's head coach in 2001 -- stacks up against one of the best defensive minds in the college game. Fortunately for Tigers quarterback Zach Mettenberger, TCU star defensive end Devonte Fields is suspended. It is unclear whether LSU tailback Jeremy Hill, who in many municipalities would be in jail after sucker-punching a man while on probation for a previous crime, will play against TCU. LSU coach Les Miles has yet to reveal whether Hill's punishment will include missing any playing time. Read More: LINK

Sports Illustrated preview of LSU vs TCU and it really pisses me off. Implies Fields is definitely suspended for this game which would be news to most TCU fans and ignores the fact that Les stated Hill would definitely miss playing time, the media just doesn't know how much. What a bunch of b#tches!
