so lsu blows out App St. with Hatch at the helm and everyone is bitching, get over ya'll selves.

Why can't you just fricking be glad the first game of his collegiate career was managed smoothly and successfully? I don't know about spoiled fricks like you, but I am glad my team took care of business today unlike some other teams.

Yeah, I just watched the Michigan game, and Threet tried to be a hero in the fourth qtr instead of simply managing the game like Hatch did. Result - Michigan doesn't convert the two on the last TD, and the Wolverines lose.
Oh, and how 'bout them Hokies? I'll take our win, be happy, and look forward to next week. That is all!

Listen, I am not the negative type and I try to give a fair assessment at all times - I try. From my observation Hatch was extremely shaky unless it was a short pass to a wide open receiver. He seemed more comfortable running the ball. Lee seemed more of a gunslinger who expects his receiver to get open and catch the ball even if he stares him down and leads the defense to him. In my opinion Hatch had more "I am not going to screw this up" than Lee.
That being said, it was their first game but they really do have a long journey ahead of them to even reach Flynn's status as a QB.

it is sad both Lee ad Hatch are playing their hearts out. We can wait to have a qb controveryy for a few games

Ever think that maybe this is what the coaches wanted him to do? I'll take the win with the short passing game and no turnovers over a loss with the ability to throw long any day.
