Why I stay off these boards....

This is not a step back for those of you still wanting someone else to be our DC. Great recruiter and solid resume with HC and NFL experience. Support the man and stop bitchin about the hire! Now I know why I stay off of these boards because of all the freakin negativity. We will have another top 10 class and our defense will be stacked! GEAUX TIGERS!

Depending what his salary is I'm okay with it...obviously wasn't anywhere near the top of alot of people's radasr, but the job is his now. ShItty track record, but I'm going to wait til after next season to comment...

I am speaking of his coaching experience not his rankings which truly are not all that bad.

While I do not agree with the HC resume part, I agree with the rest of what the OP said. Steele was a great hire and will be a great coach for us. He will help bring in the top talent and coach them up to be great.
The Rant is by far the worst board on this site and why I usually do not post here. I knew there would a ton of negative feedback that in my opinion is unwarranted so that's why I came to post this:
Everyone calm the frick down. This program is excellent condition and the future is very very bright. We will be contenders again as early as next season. LSU fans are the worst fans in America and it hurts for me to say that about my own Alma Mater. You bash the players and recruits on here, not realizing that recruits read this site and it hurts our school. If you're not going to say anything positive about our players stay the frick off of the site. You guys are spoiled and you need to grow up.

the lsu fanbase has become absolutely intolerable for me. i come here for news and get out as fast as possible. the people in this thread complaining are precisely the miserable wretches i avoid like the plague. it's like miles personally slapped their mother.

Well said, we have had an incredible run and will continue to do so. If anything we should be focusing on the quarterback situation and not the DC.
