Why I love Tiger Rant and especially the Score Board

I could spend hours and hours going back a looking at all of the early game threads of the panic button smashers and fire Aranda crowds... but let's review a few from both sides.

I just don't get how people can declare a loss in the first quarter. The same thing happens in the basketball and baseball threads. We have fans that give up on baseball in March and others that give up on the basketball team in November or December. There's too much that can happen after all that. It makes no sense to quit at that point.

I had to close my laptop in the 2nd quarter. Some people were insufferable. Someone posted, "well it's been a good season...." when we were down 17-7.

Agreed.
Nothing wrong with getting nervous. But anyone that thought how we played when we were backed up inside our 5 yard line on the first two possessions was going to lose us the game are babies.
It's like they've never watched any sport before.

I kept telling my wife to calm down. She was starting to get genuinely pissed off. My phone was on the coffee table and turned off but I wanted badly to check out the melt I knew was brewing on the rant. She told me NO and to leave it be.
After our first score, I leaned over to her and said "that's the first time the Tigers crossed the fifty." She was not pleased with me.

Of course and people are on edge. I mean, who knows when we will get this chance ever again. Questioning, complaining, cursing and all that is understandable. But, just flat out quitting when the score is still close early is just dumb.
