why has Thatcher Hurd regressed?

He hasn't been able to continue his progression from last year. It looks like someone else will have to step up.

I think he should come out the bullpen. When he got moved there last year he excelled. Some pitchers just can’t be starters

His sec era was over 8. He’s literally the same pitcher

I think he’s talking about in Omaha whenever he was almost unhitable but so was the rest of our staff

he started out not great last year, in fact most of the year was less than stellar as I recall. It wasn’t until late in the year he came on. Guess he’s following the same pattern?

He started slow last year and rhen as season progressed. Hopefully he will improve as season goes along

You are just flat out wrong. He has 12 strikeouts in 7 innings against 5 walks. They are ramping him up. Yes the walks need to be corrected. He was better late in the game. He hasn’t regressed. He’s just not up to mid season efficiency yet.
