FWIW IMO...I think it's stupid for teams to take just about ANY WR in the first round. I thought it was stupid to pick Blackmon so high. Floyd is better suited for the league.
Teams that pick WRs in the first round are called the Raiders. Yeah...how's that been working out for them? In this day and age, with the offenses in the NFL nowadays, any solid WR can be productive. Nobody ever heard of Marcus Colston before he got on the team with Drew Brees.

Yeah. Honestly, can you blame him? He goes from leading the SEC in tds to not getting the ball at all and being turned intros down field blocker. With that said, you still have to block your man. Gm's and scouts see that. They get the all 22 videos. They see a wr not caring about blocking and it's a sign. Everyone know blocking is a want to part of the game. You have to want to do it.

Your posts aren't helping our attempts to bash JJ at any opportunity. Please stop.

Is Brandon Taylor going to be drafted ahead of RR?

there wasn't much difference in lafell and bowe
??? 4.5 40 for Bowe. 4.6 40 for Lafell. 220 lbs for Bowe. 205 lbs for Lafell. 9'5" broad jumo for Lafell. 10'5" for Bowe. a 4.6 40 isn't going to get you drafted high. For Bowe, if you're 6'3" 220 and run a 4.5, you're gonna get drafted high.

i'm not criticizing him. what i heard (may be bullshite) was he was real vocal about it, which is why he quit in the title game
basically it was like JJ and a few nola guys and miles v. everyone else

agreed. RBs and WRs getting picked in the 1st round are huge gambles unless you get your rare guy like Calvin Johnson. There are hundred of players at those positions that can be just as productive in the league with the right QB. Peyton Manning, his last year in Indy, had Reggie Wayne surrounded by a bunch of average receivers.

No shite. What I'm saying is nfl scouts and gms don't care about college production when it comes to wr. They know that we had problems getting RR the ball. If us posters can see that, people that are paid to see it , definately can.

Not true. If you need a wr and you pass on a Calvin Johnson or a Larry Fitz , then you are dumb. Some wr are first rd worthy. Especially with the emphasis on passing now.
