True - 4.61 wasn't ideal at all, but he ran 4.47.
The real test is game film. He started at DBU as a freshman and played against SEC WR's and held his own. Plus, playing safety deepens his knowledge of the game.
Some players play faster in pads with adrenaline and lights. Hell, Richard Sherman ran in low 4.6's which caused him to drop into 5th round

jalen mills didn't do himself a lot of favors on film this year either. his game speed was def questionable. he's good the first 10 yards but consistently got burned deep. i mean there's a reason he's not been drafted yet. jerry rice also set records in college on the field. mills did not
