I think his question is actually, "why can't we recruit someone who has actual value as a DH and not someone we have to hide in the lineup"

So, Bryce Jordan was All-SEC last year as a DH. Didn't we recruit him? He just happens to be injured. Beau is hitting better than 4 of the batters in FSU's lineup tonight. Maybe they should pull all of their sub-.267 hitters as well. Hell, under this logic, Pap should be sitting as well, because his average is below Beau's. How many of you even know that? How I wish we had knowledgeable baseball fans on this thread.

Maybe DH Watson and put Jordan in center field. Would that make you happy. Then the DH would be hitting 5th.

Hey dumb arse?? How about taking Beau out of the lineup and having another player DH - like Wholly??

Jesus you're a dumb MF

Is their DH one of those four players? Beau needs to be benched.

Problem is we have great hitters, like Adams and Romero, who scouting reports know exactly how to get them out.

We have tried a lot of players at DH and our 9th best hitter won the job. It's unusual but that's where we are this year.

When they are hitting, 1-9 is pretty solid.

You consider yourself knowledgeable, yet you don't even realize understand the point of a DH. FSU's DH is hitting .300 with 10 hr and 80 RBI but has no value on the field . The rest of their lineup is capable defenders, which is why they are in the lineup. You said we should pull Pap, but he is one of the best defensive catchers in college baseball. What service does Beau bring to us other than hitting into double plays?

Bryce was also very overrated and got all sec honors bc it was a down year at that spot. The only impressive stat he had was his obp and that's because he got hit by so many pitcges

Do you just try to make stuff up and believe it? Bryce batted .293 last year with the second highest ob% (only behind Cole Freeman) on the team. That wasn't good enough for you? Glad you didn't vote for All Sec.

Might as well let the pitcher bat.

I said his only impressive stat is his obp. .290 is average and his 30 RBI is also very average

.......the best hitters are already in the field/playing def.
When the top 8 hitters are already in the line-up then you have a DH that bats Further down the line up. Wining on the Rant doesnt change that.....
I know I'm sure your guy would be hitting 4-5hole if PM would just give him
A chance. Or since you're asking kindergarden questions......what was your Bat Avg when you played at a D1 school?

I still dont understand why Jordan is still in this LSU lineup. Automatic out is you throw him off speed pitches.

They have all had chances.....beau wasnt always in the line up earlier in the season. And i'm sure when you faced those D1 breakers you were never fooled.
