I am going to wait and see from their Sr film, and what they do when they hit the Ponderosa.

Mauck and Flynn were great competitors and scrappy, but neither had the pocket presence of the big boys - hell, probably have to go back to Hodson and Risher to get guys in the same conversation as Russell and Davey. And before that, Jones and Tittle.

THIS

I LOVE Mauck for leading us to our first Championship in almost 50 years. But there is also some serious revisionist history with his tenure at times. We won in spite of Mauck's performances at times in 2003, including in the BCS-CG.

It's sad, people like you often confuse being truthful with being racist.
Not sure exactly how or why it works like that.

Regardless, Fu.
Like lsu2006 your little dick chubs up everytime I post.

Is it not a fact that you admitted on this site that you were racist? Now lets see who confuses being truthful.

Of course, to a racist, it is being truthful to assume a white QB is more intelligent than a black QB. That blacks don't have the intelligence or leadership skills to be QBs. That LSU should not recruit black QBs. That is the racist, like you, view of the world.

I see you have a size of penis issue as well.

I say this all the time...Football IQ is as important as athleticism playing qb in college.

this statement, on the surface, is 100% factual

but like with most of your posts, it is the undertones in which people call you out for

you are heavily implying that Brennan has the higher football IQ and Narcisse is just an athlete with no real evidence

but continue to deny what we all know you are implying

They are both spread QBs. So I agree. It's funny when folk assume that recruits will just jump over guys on the existing roster.

Actually it was in regards to our current situation at this position.

Dude, quit trying so hard to paint me in a certain light.
I didn't make anything about race.

You did.

lol. are you serious? Somehow this means Mett was not a great pocket passer for LSU?

Huh? I didn't say any if that. I'm pointing out that the QBs posted don't actually share many of the same characteristics.

In fact, I think it is pretty telling that while listing former great QBs for LSU someone would skip JaMarcus. The post to which I replied said LSU needs QBs like Mauck, Flynn, Matt, Etling, and Brennan. Tell me why someone would leave off JaMarcus or why someone would include Flynn as this staple of the ideal LSU QB when in fact Jefferson was better in 2009 than Flynn was in 2007?

Note his list of QBs: Mauck. Flynn. Mettenberger. Etling. Brennan. No JR? Scott? Does anyone wonder who these "athletes" are we don't need? Mr. Semjackass, what is it that we on here don't get?

I agree. It's funny cause I personally believe Lamar Jackson and Louisville would punish us right now. People complain by Les, but they must enjoy this stale brand of football we play.

In any event, Scott is as cerebral as they come.

exactly

you were comparing Brennan and Narcisse to our current situation and with your first post, implied that it should be obvious to why one would want Brennan because of it

Brennan = Etling - pocket pass and high football IQ
Narcisse = Harris - duel threat and low football IQ

but you didn't mention duel threat vs pocket passer, you went into football IQ comparison and implied that Narcisse had lesser football IQ

no need to waffle on it, own it and I would have more respect for you

Please no more dual threat qbs under miles. We run a pro style offense, give me a good pocket passer with pocket presence and the ability to progress through reads. This stuff is funny.

Give me a QB who can;

1. Process
2. Distribute the ball
3. Is accurate
4. And yes, can run!!! He doesn't have to run, but it be nice if he could. They exist.

Even then, what evidence do you have that Etling has a "higher football IQ"? That kind of talk is subjective as hell, particularly when we have 6 quarters of football game on digest of Etling at LSU.

Dude, seriously?

Bigger stronger faster is what I used.
Not white
Not black

Harris's measurable > Etlings
But Etlings IQ for football is obv > Harris

I didnt make tbese guys the race they are.
I just simply stated a fact that measurablea aren't the tell tale... As we are all currently witnessing.

Had the OP thrown in the fact that LN is brilliant then I don't have a point and prob wouldn't have bothered making post in this thread.

Consequently his entire point is that one guy is superior physically to the other guy.
I'm simply pointing out the fact that that's not what counts that there's more to it .......as ONCE AGAIN we are in the midst of seeing right now.

So yes, you're wrong.
You see what you want to believe and that's cool.
Either way I'm done with this thread
Feel free to have the last say.

But that's exactly what happened to me on here.

I preferred JL over JJ and according to the village idiots that reside here that's bc I'm racist and want a white qb over a black one.

quote:

Unfortunately for all those geniuses,,,,, time told the true story and we ALL saw who was the best qb for LSU. JLEE.
Guy that had not ability, but character.

As usual I was right.... But just like in our country today with politics, easiest way to ridicule someone you disagree with is pull the race card.
Happens everyday on this site.

You also preferred Kiel, Rettig and Rivers. If racism disappeared tomorrow, I guarantee that there will be no race cards pulled. Stop being a racist and no one will call you out as one. We've gone through this before you were banned. Your own racist posts were used by a number of other posters as evidence against your claims of innocence. As I stated before, you even admitted you were racist.

I just believe that as long as LSU recruits black players generally, and despite your objections, black QBs in particular, racist rants here should not go unchallenged. I think we owe that to the black players who choose to represent LSU on the field of battle. Now if that russells your and other racist's feathers, then so be it. I'd prefer black recruits and their families who visit this site to know racism and racists like you and Semjackass do not go unchallenged. But like spraying a roach with bug spray, of course you will become agitated and complain.

well no... you used football IQ

maybe...not really enough data on Etling yet

if I used Harris's first 6 quarters I could have said Harris had a high football IQ

Subjective as hell huh?
Lol

I and most other LSU fans with two eyes have seen more in 6 quarters from DE proving that, than we have In 16 games from Harris.

I still think that Scott will win the starting job two years from now. (Etling, this season and next) Then it's a 3 way battle between Scott, Narcisse, and Brennan depending on if they're all still on campus.
