Why does coach O wear a headset on the sidelines?

I really think he's more clueless than Miles. We're fricked if they don't make a change quick.

Change isn't happening anytime soon man, LSU higher ups blew the golden opportunity. You can thank Louisiana politics for the whole mess with Miles and hiring of O.

I partially agree with this statement. If Miles would have been fired at the end of the 2015 season Orgeron wouldn't be our head coach right now, but Alleva didn't explore all the options before hiring Orgeron last year either. I blame politics for the diabacle at the end of 2015 and forcing them to keep Miles, but they didn't have anything to do with them not conducting a proper coaching search in the offseason. They had every opportunity to hire a proven head coach and for some reason felt like they had to rush the hire. If they would have conducted a proper search and found zero interest and then hired him to a 2 year deal with no buyout that would have been better than this. Although, there is no fricking way people like Mullen, Fleck, Or Gundy would have had no interest in the job and all three would have been clearly better options. Ed was just a shocked as everyone else when he got the job.

I think there may have been some good ole boy shite influence on the hiring of O too. Never underestimate the ability of Louisiana politics to screw something up.

So true. Alleva has made horrible decisions from the get-go. And while miles needed to go, they traded a national championship coach for a guy who won 3 sec games in 3 years.
