Kelly and Denbrock wanted him fired after JD5's last season. I'm convinced that Brad Davis is one of the reasons why Denbrock left, along with the Sloan promotion. Davis has no business on this team or any team.

how is it a crazy notion. believe it or not there has to be a coaching staff for the last few games. We can't just fire the whole offensive staff in the middle of the season. Unless you want the players to basically run the program the rest of the season

Atkinson takes over at OL, and gives the TEs to someone that can teach them to block and catch.

no one is going to recreate the wheel in week 11. We're way past making players better at this point in the season. it's going to take an entire offseason of hands on coaching and teaching to fix the issues on the OL. That and rebuilding the roster. I hat to be the bearer of bad news, but we're not going to insert some assistant coach on staff elsewhere and magically get better this year

I can't believe that Scott Woodward wouldn't let Brian kelly fire Brad Davis.
Did he try and talk him out of it? What is the real reason Woodward didn't want Brad Davis gone. Because according to this board kelly tried to fire him at least 3 times

There are 8 other coaches and multiple analysts. Y'all are acting like if Davis left our line would be even less shitty...not possible.
