Played in the swamp in 1982 . They dumped piss on us running out of there tunnel . Stupid hot astro turf . And i broke my jaw on a punt coverage . Hate them , but we won .

This. It’s that whole fricking state, to be honest. I never hated FSU until I went to grad school there. It’s one thing if you have Bama’s trophy case. UF doesn’t. Neither does FSU or Miami, for that matter.

I never liked them. Of course, we didn't really consider them a threat before they got to be their best when we were at our worse (the 90s).
I actually respected Spurrier for what he was and envied their success.
But, then, October 9th, 1993 happened (never forget). Since them, I hate them almost as much as Bama. Almost.

Well, I live in FL (Pensacola), so I have to hear about the Gators and Bama non-stop. That doesn't help. The hurricane fiasco a few years back is really what pisses me off.
