Coaches have been debasing themselves and doing cringeworthy things for a very long time for recruits. A very long time.
It just gets out more now.
On your point, if CBK didn't want it out there it likely, no guarantee though, wouldn't be posted on social media. So to an extent he wants it out there.
It's more of a reflection of A) the absurdity of the recruiting process and B) technology + culture of those being recruited these days rather than on the coach themselves.
Hate the process, not the coach.
It just gets out more now.

Rouge, you may feel attacked by the replies to your post, but that says as much about you as the people replying.
As someone replied to another post in this thread or another one, you must not interact with many are any kids these days. This is the latest way to get kids to believe you're human and willing to try to understand them.
I grew up with the hard arse you respect me because I'm an adult generation. You want this generation to respect you and interact with you, sometimes it takes the gritty, or line dance in the living room, or dance in the locker room, or spin on a 360 photo room, or get in a photo booth with your kids and be silly to do it.
If you can't or refuse to try to understand this, that is your problem, not anyone else's.
