Reasonable description of many true Tiger fans. For many of us, yes, our favorite thing about LSU is when LSU beats an opponent on the football field, and this is something that happens more often under Les Miles than under any LSU coach ever. This is just borderline insanity at this point. I don't know where you people get the idea that ANYBODY is under the impression that Les is not flawed as a coach. To think that is pure CRAZY. LSU loses football games once in a while. Obviously Les is an excellent coach, or the number of losses immediately following a loss in his LSU career would be higher than 2.

Guess what, the entire country is playing for second place right now. There is nobody better than Bama right now. Unless Cam Newton is walking through the door to play for Oregon, FSU, or tOSU in January, they will probably win it again.

Nobody is content with being second fiddle to Bama, but currently nobody else is beating them either.

IDK, I live in ATL, home of the UGALY dawgs:( I would give anything to attend another LSU HOME game (used to live in BR). Even if it's against a non-BCS opponent. Just glad to have E3 so I can watch via computer. Just saying...

funny thing is we are not expecting 3 out of 4 Nc's(like bama and maybe 4 out of 5) but asking for a sec title every 3 is not asking too much. not for the money,m recruiting grounds and facilities we have here.or for better gameday coaching, preparation, and performances in wins and losses. but clearly that is too much too ask.

we should just be as satisfied as can be. no need to shoot for the stars, because if we want to do that then we would need to compare ourselves with the best if we want to be the best and that would be Saban's ball team.

it all depends on what your definition of elite is of course.

if elite = bama and nothing less then yes we aren't elite anymore and no one else is.


if elite = top 5-7 programs in the country i don't see how LSU doesn't fall into that category.

how many programs would you trade places with if they had to play in SEC west? ohio state and oregon play inferior competition weekly and have to get up for two games a year. FSU isn't too far behind.
florida? texas? USC? A&M? is A&m going to maintain their same level once cam newto--errr manziel leaves?

if you're only looking at this season, sure some of those programs are poised for better seasons. but big picture, i just don't get that statement.
