Aside from Early Departures I was trying to show how few passes LSU WRs get compared to aggressive, high-scoring Offenses. I see how you mistook what I was trying to say about 2013 Early Departures. However that was not my intention as the chart shows him as a senior.

quote:

Losing 23 players early to the NFL draft over a four-year span doesn’t help. That’s like losing an entire recruiting class — a highly touted one, loaded with five-star talent.

2013 was the worst year for early departures at 11, as the chart did not include Mathieu. Another exodus occurred after Chavis left because Alleva would not give him a contract without the 'Miles Clause' since he was preparing to replace Miles.

LSU since 2011 has recruited and marketed itself as a '3-and-done-NFL-LSU' school. You cannot compete for Championships leading the nation and SEC in early departures and hoping to get 5-star starters to replace them.

Very seldom, the fake field goal, fake punt with Wing and the reverse to the TE in one game but not much within the offensive sets.

I also wanted to see them let Russell throw out of the wild tiger. He would have been so much more successful(les predictable, lol) on the runs had they thrown also. That was the problem within the Miles offenses, they had specific players running specific plays.
For example; Trindan Holliday, when he was in the slot he ran end arounds and when he was lined up in the backfield they threw him swing passes.

Les Miles does not "think outside the box." He doesn't think about racking up points and putting games away with an OFFENSIVE offense. Don't turn the ball over and have a chance to win late; that's his motto.

Unfortunately, the one year the stars lined up for our offense (Mett/Hill/Landry/Beckham), our defense sucked. Worst defense in 15 years at LSU.

They should have won a NC that year, but as usual like most LSU teams that was under Les Miles' reign they underachieved. How do you have a Beckham and a Landry along with a Jeremy Hill at RB and not win a NC?? You lose to Bama as usual when they should have blown out Bama with that kind of talent on offense.

Any other top coach in America would have thrown or passed Bama out of the country, but not the conservative run, run, and run some more based Les Miles. They were on fire in Cam Cameron's first season at OC when Miles really was letting him control the offense, you could tell because they were doing things that they never had done before offensively, then later as the season progressed they gradually reverted back to what Miles was used to doing or liked doing. Lol He didn't like how wide open or aggressive LSU had become offensively under Cameron, why, well that's Les Miles. Lol They were clicking on offense and I liked what they were doing on offense with Beckham and Landry putting up the kind of stats that season that they never would have put up if it were or was the same offense as before Cameron.

But Miles of course had Cameron go back to the kind of shite he was used to doing before and that was the end of that, you just watched in agony as the explosive offense that you were enjoying became the same boring smash mouth joke of an offense as before all the rest of the way of the season. Yes, you right, defensively they weren't as good as usual, but that was a sign of shite to come under Chief John Chavis.
