His agent got him the best offer possible and he's happy with it. Nothing more to prove.

so being average at the combine is good? only thing he did at combine was run a good 40. bench, vert, and broad jump were average

You missed the drills then.

He improved his stock at the combine, nothing he could do at pro day would have improved it anymore, unless he ran a sub 4.3 40, which wasn't happening.

Falcons already gave him the guarantee. No need to improve his 40.

a year ago he was the greatest thing since sliced bread, so how could he not have improved his 40 time from the combine?

Not sure why you directed this at me. A year ago I said he would be a 5-6 rounder, possibly even 7th rounder. I said he wouldn't blow anyone away with his 40 time. Basically, I underestimated Mathieu and was wrong with everything I said, so not sure where you're going with this greatest thing since sliced bread thing.

You didn't see it. He was the most fluid DB there (by far) and displayed just completely natural ball skills. He stuck every ball thrown his way, turned on a dime, and was just flat out impressive in the eye test.

These guys will never get it, they've seen Tyrann for two years at LSU and still don't get it.

There was a segment earlier this afternoon on NFL network on LSU's Pro Day. Films of TM7, Eric Reid, Mingo primarily. One of the yap-yaps said Reid had performed so well there and at the combine that he may be considered the #1 safety come draft day.
