He's modeling himself after our new president Hussein Obama.

He had the sickest head fake ever to don an LSU uniform.

So if we refer to Muhammad Ali's Olympic gold medal we should call him Cassius Clay?
His momma call him Clay, I call him Clay.

I saw him dribble the ball over a defender's head once. He went on to score 50+ in that game.

Seriously, how long are we going to hold this not-standing for the national anthem against CJ? It was 1 time, and it was 15 years ago. Get the frick over it, IMHO.

Hot Carl
There is more to the story. All season he had been staying in the dressing room until after the National Anthem. This day he decided to come out and sit down with his back to the flag.
It was his right but he should take the shite he knew was coming.

He was the greatest scorer I've seen in the SEC since Pete, saw the shootout between him and Alan Houston in Knoxville. UT fans still say the greatest game played in their building. UT had 3 guys chasing him on the perimeter and it didn't matter, Tigahs won in OT. Don't care for the political stuff but he was a tremendous player.

One is an obvious sign of disrespect, the other is not. No one here would mind if a player from LSU just thanked "Ala", but that is not what he did. He disrespected our country. He should have been banned from the league that was paying him millions because of the nation that he was disrespecting. Chris Jackson died when he became the other guy
Since you feel so offended , the next time you're are at a ball game , they play the National Anthem and any man woman or child is talking , not standing , wearing a hat , not holding their hand over their heart , not singing the correct words , shuffling , laughing , eating , walking , picking their nose and or not paying attention appropriate action should be taken.
For example : An 80 yr old guy forgets to remove his hat , he doesn't put his hands that are holding food & drink over his heart ,and he starts grinning cause he can't sing & screwed up the words again !
Of course the down side for you is that if you slip up and violate any of these universal signs of respect you are dead meat sir and will be treated accordingly !

that's not in any way the same as what Jackson did and if you fail to see the very obvious difference then you're a fool.

Worst comparisons ever! Your examples are totally different not to mention ridiculous. He did it every game, intentionally as a sign of disrespect to HIS country. Even fellow Muslim Hakeem Olajuwon (and non-American) said that his protest was misdirected and not well thought out.

Funny. That is the kind of shite they would say in the middle east.

That's fine for his momma. But, ask George Foreman what he calls Muhammad Ali now.
Everyone on one side gets the lack of respect for our country... I find it very despicable. But, call a man by the name he claims... and then he lives with the consequences and there's no aspersions on what we all can agree on.. that in this country we allow these rights.
