Jai Eugene is not very good. He is a decent tackler, but nobody on our defense has been a "good" tackler this year.
I do agree that he's better than Hawkins though. That dude is bad.
The problem with Jai is that he's too small. He's listed at 5'11", and looks smaller than that. Lots of times this season teams have picked on him and have had succes doing so.
I like Jai, but he's a much better towel-waver than cornerback.

Agree...
I would expect better from a junior...
Not all the blame can be on the corners though, alot of big plays resulted from blown coverages bythe safeties...

pp might be the best corner we have. hawkins has been less than impressive especially in his little showing in the ark game
