Jefferson put up better stats at LSU
Well thats friggin stupid. Chase had the best season from a Receiver in LSU history. Chase was the better receiver at LSU. Jefferson has had the better career start then Chase but don't forget Chase was hurt last year and missed significant playing time. Chase is still the better receiver. They also do different things and why they complimented each other so well in LSUs offense.

Chase - natural talent
Jefferson - always had to prove himself

Chase was also usually going up against the best opposing corner
And also he missed the NW State game in 19 and could have padded stats then

It doesn’t matter. They are both outstanding.

You can argue that the roster of each team is the main reason for Jefferson having better stats.
Bengals have a much better defense and more depth at skill positions. Also Burrow is better at spreading the ball around and they don’t need to force feed Chase to win.
Vikings have a terrible defense, a quarterback who’s good enough to get the ball to Jefferson but isn’t scrambling at all, and nobody else other than a tight end.
Basically Vikings are in much higher scoring games and Jefferson has to be the guy. Bengals can win lower scoring games and have other skill position guys who can make plays.
The biggest thing Jefferson has over Chase is he’s a better route runner, maybe the best in the nfl

Funny part to me is... starting the year I thought Marshall looked the best of the 3. What a team.

Chase is the better athlete and dominant receiver
Justin Jefferson is the best route runner of our generation. Maybe the best ever. He's so clean and efficient. His movements are so precise that you cannot tell where he's going. That and he's a freak show too.
But chase is stronger and faster.
It's what and what
