I hate to see our team, which has so much talent and capability, not achieve some improve with their most significant weaknesses each week. For example, our offensive line isn't enabling us to have establish a running game. Our coaches are not effectively aligning their game plan to the best capabilities of the key players. I suspect the root-cause of those two problems may be poor coaching, which appears will be changing soon. With the remaining schedule, it is difficult to see more than two maybe three more wins leaving LSU at 5 or 6 wins for the season.

Tough to solve our problems when a fricking retard who can't even self reflect is in charge.

If he can't reflect on his own life, he won't on the football team. He does not know how to. Statements like "Joe Brady Offense" are all you need to see.

The dickhead is too fricking retarded to even describe what that offense is

You can’t flip a switch and make a line block better.

I'm sure you have a friend or a family member that is a piece of shite and you know that they wont change.

Just because O is a coach doesn't mean hes any different.

Not hard to figure out.

re: What will O / Ensminger have to do to win you back? - Dv817 on 1/9/18 at 1:51 pm
Coach Ogerion and Ensminger would need to begin winning the SEC championship for me to believe they are worth keeping. I am one of those LSU grads that did not want Ed Ogerion as a head coach to begin with!!! I thought LSU could have done much better in their head coach selection. Ogerion promise...

Honestly I think the team has progressed a lot since the first game especially on defense. They looked like total crap against UCLA. Except for the OL, play calling and in game strategy. Those things have proven to be more difficult to fix because of a talent issue on OL and competence/experience issue calling the plays and running the offense. It's crazy the downfall of O will more than likely be due to recruiting deficiencies. Though I guess not that crazy as roster management falls in the long term strategy category, which I dont think is a strength of his.

Resolving issues takes:

-Honest and capable assessment of the cause of the issues

-Analysis of ways that the issues could be improved upon/solved

- Successful implementation of the methods identified which could improve/solve the issues

Which of these do you believe the staff is capable of? It takes all three.

It turns out that our HC needs a generational QB to pull off his elite concepts

Football has advanced way beyond how our Head Coach thinks about it. Leading to hires of old worn out guys like Linehan and Pelini.

He inherited a bright mind in Aranda and lucked into Brady who was a perfect compliment to E.

The proven, innovative tactical coaches will not entertain working for him. So we are stuck with experiments such as Peetz. Jones appears to be rapidly growing into the role.

Why Can't We Resolve Our Issues?

The HC has no philosophy or system of his own, so everything rests on coordinators. When it doesn't work he has no clue how to fix it because he has nothing to fall back on. He's never called plays or come up with a playbook himself. He's nothing more than a rah rah cheerleader.

The o-line is so bad it's hard to tell whether it's mismanagement, poor development, or missed evaluations of talent.
