Is it too much to ask to get a head coach who actually coaches and not just stand in the sideline being a cheerleader? I mean I watch other games and see plenty of coaches calling plays and actually coaching. All I see our cheerleader coach doing is saying lets geaux and clapping his freaking hands. I'm just asking when will we wake the frick up and her some young blood in here.

I was impressed when O had his microphone down near his face.

Works for Dabo. Not that I’m an Orgeron fan.

I agree that we need a new HC, but this is Dumb.

Having a HC that is also your OC/DC, doesn't equal wins!

anomaly

and before somebody says les miles or mack brown both those guys were coordinators at one time or another regardless of quality

it is always better to have a guy who can coach one side of the ball as it lessens your exposure when coordinators leave. miles did a great job at getting DC's not so great with OC's once crowton was gone.

does anyone think we can keep replacing DC's at this rate? pellini, chavis, steele and aranda when aranda leaves?

We don't necessarily need a coach calling plays but we need one that is engaged during the game with oversight of what is going on.

All Orgeron does is stand there clapping and screaming, "Let's go baby!!" He occasionally throws a tirade or chews out the special teams coordinator when the offense is struggling. I laughed my arse off when he had to wait for Aranda to tell him when to call time out and then went sprinting down the sideline to the referee.

fricking embarrassing.

THIS!

Showed he is nothing more than a glorified cheerleader.

I also shook my head when one of the announcers said, "LSU still hasn't found it's offensive identity by the 12th game".
