You are aware that there was a rule change last year putting the kickers further back right? That as a result of the Rule LSU started to kick the ball higher to get coverage underneath to make the tackle. If we had a kicker that made it to the goal line that sure would be a whole hell of a lot of time to find a hole while everyone catches up. Instead LSU has been angling the ball to the side and keeping it high. All that matters is starting position not where they catch it.

I thought Miles said it is not our intention to kick the ball out of the end zone. The sky kick is our objective on kickoffs this year.

Correct me if I'm wrong, because I haven't really paid attention when we're kickinig off so far this year.

How so? If our coverage stays the same we'll have an opponent starting field position average of the the 24yd line.

are you serious? Is Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, etc, going to have special teams less than or only equal to fricking App. State and N. Texas? Some people on here are the biggest homers its retarded. I'm not saying the sky is falling, but if you can't see how this could be an issue in upcoming games you're living in bliss.

I suppose you think our QB situation is just fine too, huh? You can express concern sometimes, you know, without downing the team. It seems some people on here just can't seem to grasp that.

STFU already. We had the same kicking game last year against the same teams and I really like how our season turned out. If you want to whine about the QB, CB or LB play I'm with you but the fricking kicking game? Really?

I think he may have said that since we don't have a guy that can kick it out the endzone.

I don't mind these sky kicks, but kicking it out the endzone is a sure way to not get a touchdown against you.

We waste two scholarships on guys that can't kick far enough.
I am 100% positive there is some kid walking to class right now that could kick it out the endzone.
we should have open tryouts and find 1 of the thousands of guys at LSU, find that 1 that can kick it out the endzone.
