quote:exactly! No more season ticket holders that have them just because they want to be able to tell their friends at the next banquet that they have season tickets.
The only ones affected would be the habitual no shows so who cares if it doesn't go over well with them? I sure don't.
No more notoriety ticket holders!

If you own a car but choose to not use it, should the state have the authority to seize your assets?

So you're saying putting attendance stipulations on season ticket holders is unreasonable?
Yes

Because they paid ,with parking,TAF, about $126 a game for them. Not everybody lives 50 miles from the stadium. I scratch and save to buy tickets, they are handicap, if I cant go I make sure a handicap person (the last few years ,a young boy in a wheelchair) gets to use them. They never go unused.

Let me help the Einstein's of the RANT...
4 Season tickets on the 35 yrd line lower bowl and a parking pass run upward of $7K. Each and every year. It's simple really.....If we stop paying for those seats, there's too few canidates to pick up those tabs. The broke dicks that troll the TE Board all day proclaiming and trying to educate people that they should't pay more than $30-$40 for a ticket versus Florida. Those broke dicks aren't going to fill our shoes. How about be thankful for the current season ticket holders long standing commitment?
In all seriousness...This thread is dumb. Thanks for the years of dumping piles of money on us to build a college football power house, but we have a new guy with $5k in his hand and you haven't been going to the games...... YEahhhhhhhhhhhhh

For the record, meauxjeaux - I don't think this is "dumb", or "fricking stupid".
I just disagree with it.

They can't punish people for not using bought tickets, but I would like to see LSU award discounts on future packages, concession coupons, priority on road game seats, or some kinda perks programs to earn points every time a ticket under your account gets scanned.

Then one fall, your wife has twins and you miss a few games. Lose your tickets.
Husband and wife get divorced. Can't agree on the value of season tickets in the community property settlement because they already have two strikes on them. Can't agree on who is responsible for the strikes.
You get offered two club tickets by your friend at a tailgate on gameday. Give him your two season tickets to give to one of his customers. Customer's friend comes upon better tickets 10 minutes before kickoff, and it's the Furman game so they can't resell your tickets in time. Tickets don't get used, and you get a strike on your season tickets.
Non-season ticket holder buys tickets in the open market. Seller cautions him that the season tickets already have two strikes on them. Buyer falls ill at the tailgate, and the tickets don't get used. Seller loses his season tickets and sues buyer for damages.

I would say over half of the no shows are corporate tickets.
